    Sitting Comfortably

    The factory stem had me leaning over making my ride uncomfortable. To correct this problem I needed to raise the handlebars four inches higher. Having this provide me with ten inches of length allowed me to have some space for adjustment. As the extra padding in the seat was also causing some issues. But with raising the handlebars corrected the issue with the seat. In making these types of changes might involve having to replace cables. So analyse your situation before making the changes so your not in the middle hung up.

    Excellent Stem for tall riders

    The Sunlite Steel Stem was exactly what I needed for my vintage single speed bike. It was easy to install and gave me the extra clearance I needed for my 6'3" body and long legs.

    Low quality

    Quality is subpar. It is welded between the handlebar connection and shaft. This weld is very sloppy looking and the finish is very rough. Pay a little extra and get a better quality if you are looking for a more finished stem.
