    Buyer beware. This seller sells defective earphones. Only 1 earbud worked and the quality was beyond poor. I contacted the seller who said he would refund my money (still waiting). Be careful. The cost of the item is 99 cents and shipping costs $5.99. (I am sure it did not cost more than a mail stamp) Let's see if they refund the total costs as it would be grimey to charge me shipping for sending me a defective item. They know what they are doing.

    Not as loud as I wanted

    I bought this speaker for work thinking a JBL would be louder than my Jams speaker because it is noisy in my work area, but it sounds just the same. When at home and using it, the sound is loud enough. Good quality sound, and loud enough if at home. Would not recommend if you need something louder in a noisy area. I do not feel the value was good because my co worker got a louder off brand speaker for only 15.00.

    Good Sounding JBL Bluetooth

    Good sounding. I also have an Anker brand bluetooth speaker. Both are similar in cost. The Anker does have more volume and better sound. The JBL does sound ok.

    Great for what it is

    While this is not an audiophile product, it sounds perfectly fine considering it's intended usage and price point. This speaker is durable, loud , sounds fine, and has good battery life. However, it's really best suited for background music at the beach. It is only mono and really has no bass. Yet it's hard to fault it considering its size. Anyone looking for an affordable, outdoor speaker won't be disappointed.

    Before I bought this , I had a JBL clip that lasted me 5 years with almost daily use , and it technically still works , so I just trusted JBL quality overall . And this little guy didn’t disappoint either. For its small size and limited purpose , it sounds surprisingly good. It has a decent, full rounded off sound , Not too tinny, which is usually the main concern with diminutive speakers. Add the fact that it’s water proof too , and this is a homer run for the money. So, yes I recommend this speaker , and JBL in general.
