    Excellent replacement switch

    I replaced the failing door switch in my refrigerator in Feb. It took a few minutes to figure out how to remove the old switch. Snapping in the new one was easy. Works perfectly. I would purchase again.

    This is not the correct replacement for Sub Zero 7014646

    Although this part looks similar, it does not have the notch cutout on the back of the switch. Therefore, the top grill panel will not be able to be re-installed. See photo below. The switch I removed from my Sub-Zero 680 refrigerator is on the left. You can see the notch above the terminal. When installed in the refrigerator, this notch is toward the front of the cabinet and allows the grill panel to fit into the notch. The switch I was sent as a replacement fits into the hole, but since there is no notch, the grill panel will not fit when reinstalled.

    Does not fit sub zero as advertised

    I bought this switch for my sub zero refrigerator. the switch is designed to fit into the space that holds the switch however it is larger than the original switch and therefore the upper stainless grill does not fit back into position without being modified. Meaning you have to cut your grill on your sub zero refrigerator with a dremmil in order to get it to fit with the switch in place. I should have bought OEM. you should too

    brand new & works fine

    Could say ask me a year from now.. but it is a good replacement: the lamps go on now. The moving part of the switch is slightly wider than original; moreover, switch is an exact fit.
