    My street rod charges better than ever

    My 34 Ford street rod was built more than 20 years ago and still had the old style alternator with external regulator with the output never any higher than 12.75 volts and when I would turn on the headlights they were very dim. I wanted to get a good quality single wire alternator . I wanted quality and didn't care about chrome . I installed the the Tuff Stuff alternator and ran a 6 ga. wire straight to the battery and now it charges at around 14 volts and the headlight are bright enough i can drive at night

    Nice part. Might require modifications.

    Good quality but doesn't quite fit Ford FE truck engines. Pulley alignment is off a little bit using factory bracket and spacer.

    Tuff stuff Alternator is tuff installed it on my 65 fairlane.

    Installed it on my 65 fairlane in like ten minutes definitely well worth it its value is more then the cost. Thanks would recommend anyone to switch over to this. And a real + made in the USA and the heart of Cleveland. Thanks again be buying another for 71 mustang

    Works perfect!

    Works perfectly on my 64 Galaxie 289ci small block engine! Only minor modifications are needed! I rotated the back cover 1/4 turns to expose 12V connection to eliminate a short circuit towards the cylinder head and also to simplify the connection to the battery.

    Great alternator. Worth the price.

    Charges great on both my Pro Pintp and Falcon. Only thing the belt has to be very tight as it will slip when engine first starts with the V belt.
