    Top notch

    The reel came in the original box with oil , Looked brand new and works flawlessly. It takes some practice,but I'm very impressed with how well it casts light lures. Caught several crappie, bass and bluegill on a trout magnet with a 1/16 ounce jig head. BFS is a fun new way to catch fish, and the aldebaran is a great reel .

    I have converted now for 2 years over to BFS fishing using such quality bait caster reels such as this Aldebaran 16! such a pleasure to cast & fish with plus accuracy over a spinning reel! just hope it really takes off here in Australia!!.... love this BFS Aldebaran as this is my third reel ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

    Great reel

    It is very expensive. However, I would recommend. Very good quality bfs reel. Has the classic shimano raspy sound when cranking it straight out of the box, but very smooth feeling when fishing with the reel. The breaking system will take time to get used to especially if you are using fluorocarbon. It comes with extra magnets you can install into the side plate incase you want more breaking power. Also come with 2 oils (the regular shimano bantam oil and a bfs oil).
