Don't have to look down while shifting anymore!

After removing 4 links to fit my large Felt S32 drive train, it took about 5 minutes to thread through the derailleurs and clip back onto itself using a KMC Missing Link, (so I won't need tools to remove/attach chain for cleaning in the future). Lightly lubricated and almost silent while pedaling, I couldn't believe how smoothly this chain operates up/down both derailleurs. Have put about 500 miles on it and it rides like new. Really like not having to look down during shifting to "make sure" the chain is going where I'm asking it to go! Highly recommend this chain, especially for the quality and value!

      • Ultegra is the best for function and loses only a little to DA for weight

Shimano is great stuff. I have 6770 on my road bike and am a huge fan. So in terms of road bike equipment, 105 is good, Ultegra is great and Dura Ace simply lighter than Ultegra (and often times not as durable) the difference between a 6701 chain and a DA one is hollow pins. So there is some weight savings, however the profile of the chain links is the same, so there is no improvement in shifting (like there is 105 to Ultegra) You can get the KMC X10SL and save 50 grams, but you'll spend around double the cost of Ultegra, so the value is questionable.

      • Shifts Like a Dream

Shimano makes the best chains. Even though a bit pricier than others, they are well worth the additional cost. I've been using them for over 25 years and have had nothing but excellent results.

      • 2015 ultra CN-6701 chain HG

Definitely the best value for money, and an improvement on previous renditions. This is typical of Shimano, who always improve on theur products. They never disappoint.

      • Very high quality.

A great chain for use with Shimano derailleur and sprocket.
