      This 300 watt aquarium heater good for up to 100 gallon water tank size, works like described, heats well. Buying the additional choice of shield to protect your fish from getting burned, I've not noticed this choice in stores before now, it seemed like a very good idea, to protect your fish from harm, while still heating up their water. Red know sticks up a bit, making it more easier to adjust temps whenever needed to. Make sure to turn heater to see red on button from wherever you need to view

      Just got the aquarium to 80*. It would be ideal if the power cord was about 5' long so as to not need an extension cord. Otherwise, it works as advertised.

      I ordered a second heater from them upon seeing this one. While I prefer titainium shafts over glass, this heater was very well made and the on light was easy to see. Not my preferred style as I said, but I am hoping that these hold up better than the digital heaters I had. They made it about 1 year and all 5 went out at the same time.. These look to be heavier and well made, I don't think you can beat them for this price.
