Because pole washers with screws are vertically shaped. See assembly instructions 2) 1 Screw that goes into holes on 90 degree pole that attaches to base was too large and the threads were in the wrong direction. So couldn't safely secure 90 degree pole to the base 3) Pkg. arrived on time and not damaged

Everything looked and worked as it should though. Pretty easy to put together without any instructions. Lots of extra parts that are not identified in any picture of the frame put together. I would like to know what all the extra bolts and feet go to. Other than that it’s seems to be a great product.

Not the best quality but it works. Too much movement, should be a stiff frame for a hammock frame, but you get what you pay for. Shipping was fine. Thank you.
