I planted them in moist soil, after soaked, kept vigil for 3.5 weeks and no life. I finally dug up the seeds and found them in the same state as planted. Perhaps I should have planted small pebbles knowing they would not have life in them. Less disappointment. I have gardened for many years and never had such a 100 percent seed failure. As the germination instructions included with your order explain, it is critical that you scarify the seeds before sowing them. If you simply stick them in the soil and "soak" as you describe here, the water will not penetrate the seed coat and trigger germination. I'm sorry to hear that there are "sad times ahead for you", but detailed growing instructions are included for a reason.
