    germination rates are a bit hit or miss but that seems to be the case for a lot of these varieties (lavender, chives, and mint have taken a while to come up but i'm hopeful on the latter 2; lavender is notoriously hard to sprout apparently). oregano also took a bit to come up but we're doing well.
