It's probably the most secure mount I've bought and it also doesn't totally block the airflow from the vent since the phone is extended a bit. BUT... the sides that squeeze the phone into place press on the volume button on my Google Pixel 7a which tends to lock up the screen. I decided to try to carve out space for the volume button with a Dremel (see pic) and it seems to have worked, but it would have been almost unusable otherwise. Watch out for your side buttons
