It looks as good as if I had done it myself, which is not a compliment. However, the hardware is lightweight without looking cheap (so, not scary to hang from ceiling hook), and, at the distance one normally looks at a lamp, the overall effect is good. It was a gift for my husband’s home office, and he thinks it’s beautiful. The filling between the 'color pices ' should get more attention from whoever makes this.
