That being said, the spigot itself doesn't drip when in the closed position. It comes with two very thick silicone... I guess you'd called them gaskets. they're shaped sort of like a flying saucer kind of shape. They do the job of keeping water from leaking perfectly thanks to the two metal washers that fit the profile of the gaskets. It seems like an excellent design.
