It would have been helpful if the instructions or the wheel itself showed the direction of rotation. I put it on with the power cable on the left. The rim doesn't match the other original rim so I had to get it elsewhere. The customer service was very good. There are three different speed settings to choose from on the control panel. I would definitely start on the slow setting till you get used to it.
