      Dryer Motor DIY

      This was my first dryer motor job but was straight forward. After removing all necessary parts a motor saddle plate comes out with old motor and was able to snap clip the new motor into the saddles. The new motor fit perfectly and is running smooth. All that was needed was a 1/4 inch socket set and some large wrenches for the fan nuts. The Ebay price made the job worth while.

      If I can get it installed it will be worth it.

      I haven't used this product yet, but I have spent a lot of time searching for the appliance that would work with it. I did finally find one, and lucky thing I needed a very small microwave because there were only a couple of microwaves that could be used with this mounting bracket and the other choices were quite expensive. The instructions that come with the bracket are vague, so I've spend additional time searching for more/better installation instructions and there aren't any. I think I've got it now and I will try to install. Don't make the same mistake I made; make sure you have a microwave that this bracket can be used with before you buy the bracket. I had no idea this would be so difficult.
