It was painted numerous times to cover the extensive RUST, and the rust was still visible. As for shipping the item, it WAS NOT packed properly, therefore, the NECK of the scale came BENT, and inoperable. He had NO protective packing materials around the scale PLUS it was shipped in a home depot cheap box without padding. This seller should NOT be allowed on EBAY!!! I was ROBBED, NOT worth one penny, the value is ZERO!!
