    Great tribute to a very rare set.

    When the original set eludes you or if the prices have gotten out of hand, this set will scratch that itch. OK, it's not the original nor is it trying to pull one over you as you can tell. But just going around your layout, it is cool. What I find most compelling is that the markings are correct from the OG. There are no change in the numbers or graphics, no inappropriate "PW" markings or anything else to give it away while the train is highballing around your track. Outside of it looking brand new, it serves the purpose. Plus you get period looking correct boxes, well sort of, like I said pretty close and a great tribute to the OG set. I got the add on set as well, and while the single motor may struggle to pull the full consist, it does look very cool and will work with wider ...

    My brother owns the original from 1957 or '58. I tried to get him to let me have it to use since it hasn't been on the rails for 40+ years. But he didn't take the bait. So I bought the newer version. Absolutley gorgeous. Now I must get a transformer so that I may enable the sounds.
