The item I received is quiet but lacks the features of the water bowl I thought I was buying. I water bowl I received has the drain at the front and my pets avoid the drain area when drinking and either got there heads wet under the water spout or the electric cord was in the way. So after a day or two of use my cats stoped using it. But again, it’s nothing like the pictured water bowl.
