    This hay holder has really improved my guinea pig's environment. She has more room in the enclosure, and we waste a lot less hay. No more wet hay going to waste, and she can eat as much as she wants anytime. It turns out I had been putting down way too much timothy hay than she needed, and she'd been stepping all over it and peeing on it. Now she nibbles it through the bars whenever she wants. It does tend to leave hay crumbs where it joins the cage.
