    A World Painted in Shades of Gray

    When you enter the world of the Coen Brothers, you know that it's going to be a rough but interesting ride! The plotlines are unique, and the characters are woven with care and with many contrasting personality types. Good and bad do not exist. Instead, it's a world painted in shades of gray with black humor. Season 3 continues this tradition, but with less comedy and more violence. The obvious evil hate object, Varga, is incredibly repelling, even for a Coen Brothers character. The sheriff, Gloria Burgle, played to perfection by Carrie Coon, provides one of the few characters who the viewer can easily root for, and she provides the acute investigative brain that can maneuver through the lies of all the twisted characters. Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays the role of Nikki, a charismatic, ...

    Same actor playing multiple roles

    I found it to be a good story, but was a little put off by the fact that the one actor played so many different roles in this. I think that took something away from the story. It was distracting from the actual story line.
