Files were destroyed after cloning to new drive and it took forever. Never actually ran right. Should have been at most 5 hrs . It ran for 13! I went a different route so I wouldn't ruin my new drive. I regret not getting the larger one instead of the portable. I don't want to ruin drives testing it. YES I followed directions + I'm not a novice with tech repair. I'm on the fence here with this one. =/

Set it up and found only power was provided, no data transfer or even a recognition of an external HDD of flash drive. I sent a email about issue and replies were basic help. The next day I changed the Thunderbolt cable and all worked very well. I did email the seller and explained the cable is bad asking what they wanted to do and received a happy all is good email. I would like a new cable.
