The other followed suit within a couple of weeks. I am sorely disappointed in Makita. I have a long list of their tools and this is the first time I have gotten defective ones. They also came without the typical belt hook.

The off brands will only refer to the Dewalt brand to let the buyer know the off brand works with the Dewalt battery.
