A new formula for a formerly-perfect drug?
I have suffered with severe iron-deficiency anemia for decades (requiring many iron infusions and blood transfusions over the years) and the normal iron products caused me bad stomach problems and severe nausea so I stopped taking them. My hemoglobin levels have always been in the 7-10 range, far below normal, which resulted in me always being tired and lacking in energy. I started taking Vitron-C daily about two months ago and my hemoglobin reading today was at 11.7! My doctor and I are both thrilled with the results and I have NO untoward side effects from the tablets at all. I will take Vitron-C for the rest of my life. No Iron in these pills!
I’ve used this with good results for the last year. As soon as I began using these Iron pills, my Iron level dropped. I donate Platelets weekly, and need to take something to maintain a mandatory Iron level. I barely met the minimum last week, and was rejected this week after Doubling the dosage I’ve taken for years. The only change? The SOURCE of this, my former favorite brand of IRON PILLS !!!!! No coincidence here!I’ve used this with good results for the last year. As soon as I began using these Iron pills, my Iron level dropped. I donate Platelets weekly, and need to take something to maintain a mandatory Iron level. Iron intolerance
My Dr wanted me on iron supplements 3x a week. I was unable to take them because the constipation was so bad. I have a bad back and the constipation would take me down with back spasms! Dr wanted me to go in the hospital for IV iron, but a friend told me about Vitron C, I told my Dr I was able to tolerate this brand. So he’ll retest my level in a couple months. I’m very happy I didn’t have to go in the hospital. Prayerfully my levels will be up! I’m pretty confident though so thank you!My Dr wanted me on iron supplements 3x a week. I learned about it originally from my Orthopedic Surgeon before he did a knee replacement on my knee. He insisted that my calcium and iron counts be brought up to normal. So....10 years later I still take Vitron C and recommend it to anyone who asks about effective iron deficiency treatments. My platelet count and iron levels were a little low, so my doctor recommended this product - noting that it wasn't cheap and offering less expensive alternatives. Figuring my health was kind of important, I went with the Vitron C and am glad that I did. Not only did it make my labs look much better, but I realize now that I really have not been sick at all since beginning this daily regimen. My understanding is that the Vitamin C is supposed to facilitate the absorption of the iron. Whatever.
