    Golden Age f Country cd set.

    The songs are fine. Was a little disappointed in the packaging. It was a thin cardboard double sleeve type, with two CDs. Each CD was in a thin plastic sleeve. I was expecting the usual plastic cases with thicker CDs. However, after discovering my player was defective, and getting another one, they do seem to play fine. With the number of songs covered, it seems each song is a shorter version of the original recording, but that is on Time Life, not Ebay, or the seller. Considering the price, it is still a nice set. Not so sure it would have been worth what Time Life is currently asking for this package, but the recipient needs to valuate that themselves. There is a nice variety of songs, and singers. Many I did not realize was considered country, but ones I did know. Would be a nice ...

    the real THANG!

    It's the real THANG! The GOLDEN AGE OF COUNTRY CD-set from FOX Lids & Threads is the original re-mastered release version from Time-Life. It is NOT some inferior poor-level copy set. The recordings are fully remastered with the full range of sound for contemporary home stereo, car audio and other surround multi-speaker set-ups. The print materials is quality glossy paper and photos with good inks. I especially like the compact package with cardboard sleeves for the CDs. And a good deal!

    Good but ?

    The product is fine, but I think they should be upfront that they"re (in my personal opinion) ripping off Time Life. If you read the FINE print on the package, they have NO relationship to Time Life, I suppose that the copyright on this music has expired? It's better than paying Time Life's unbelievably high price, but still...lets be upfront and honest!

    Good sound reproduction but not full range as name brand CD's. For the number of CD's and total original artist songs it is good value.
