I originally ordered it in RED because the ad said it was the most popular seller. I ordered it a second time from this supplier in green. After doing some research on the internet, I found that cats CAN NOT see the color RED. I don't know what they see it as; however, my cat loves the toy. It runs around like a mouse and kind of looks like one when operating.
