    Beautiful - with a few minor issues

    I love this xebec. It looks fantastic and is a great decorative piece for my home office. With that in mind, I still want to be honest about what prevents this from getting a full five stars... 1. The box was well packed, but the bowsprit and rudder were completely disconnected and laying separately at the bottom of the box. I took the time to fix the bowsprit. The rudder is presenting a challenge. A few other metal pieces were disconnected as well. 2. The pictures of this model show a beautiful, shiny hardwood finish and shiny brass cannons and other fittings. The delivered piece has a very dull hardwood finish and no shiny brass cannons/fittings. They are all dark/dull. That may have been in the fine print (I did not notice) but it is still misleading. You expect to get what you ...
