      good features--snses animals 60 ft away.

      The ultrasonic noise appears to work well against deer---no flowers gone since installed. The so called lions roar sounds like it has a bad cold--did not use.

      Questionable effect

      Hard review to write. I wish I had more choices other than yes/no in the recommendations section. Let's just say it works as far as giving out predator sounds, ultrasounds and strobe. It is of good quality. But as far as scaring off animals (racoons in my case), the jury is still out. It's supposed to be protecting my veggie garden and one morning I noted that a veggie was gone.

      Guardian Bundle sale

      Originally only wanted one of these but for the price we decided to get two. So far so good. They emit a very slight sound that I can hardly hear unless I out the thing right up to my ear. Have only had it set up for a week but I don't see any more chipmonks hanging around. Hope it stays that way.

      Works for me

      The Guardian works very good. Using it to keep dogs away. I live next to community dog walk and some owners let their dogs urinate and poop on my lawn. Dogs now prefer to go on other side of the area.

      Had it for 2 weeks

      Had it for 2 weeks and no raccoon until night-7 when the Guardian froze-up and did not work. (No sound and heat detection -- only the strobe light was blinking) Raccoons came back that very night. When I discovered it 'locked-up' I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it's been working. Maybe keeping it plugged in for a long time gets it 'locked-up'. I now unplug it every other day or so to ensure that doesn't happen again. Good news to report: the wind knocked it off the shelf and onto the concrete and I re-plugged it in, secured it, and it works fine...so it survived a "drop-test". Also, it rained moderately for about 12 hours and the Guardian survived that too. So far so good.
