    The cannister had a large crack in it that spread out and pieces are coming off and there is no way food can be stored in it for little pieces of pottery getting in it. its very clear that seller knew of the crack because it was glued back together. I have tried to contact her with no luck and I would not advise anyone to deal with this seller

    Quality and ease

    I purchased the vintage Melitta coffee maker as a backup to the one I purchased years ago. I like it so much and I know that someday I will need to replace my old one (but hopefully not soon). I wanted to be sure that I had one ready. When I saw a new Melitta on ebay, I just had to grab it. So, I hope this lets you know how much I like the ease and quality of it. I tried it out to make sure all worked well -- it's perfect!

    Ease of Use

    The separate vessel for water make this coffee maker easier to use and less messy than most. It's just the right size. I've worn out several of this model.
