      Excellent Buy

      This is my 2nd Cuisinart CEK-40. My first one was accidentally dropped onto a tile floor and the motor housing totally disintegrated. This unit was the exact some model and works flawlessly. I slice many (social club) hams and turkeys and this electric knife has never let me down.

      Accept no substitutes.

      The only equivalent set is purest junk. This is the One True Electric Knife. Even the Cuisinart "new edition" is insufficient by comparison. The tiny cutting board and the fork are just impediments and destined for the dreaded Kitchen Junk Drawer.
