    Safe dehumidifier for small capassity gun safes.

    Not designed for ANY free standing rifle safe. Too small to do what it was designed for. Can not circulate any air. Heats only a very small area near itself,not entire enclosed safe.

    Not original goldenrod

    Even though the description was accurate, the picture is misleading as it looks like the "original goldenrod" not "goldenrod by gunsaver" and the rod is black in the clear packaging. Shame on me I guess for relying on the pic and play on words

    12" Goldenrod Dehumidifier works!

    Before I installed the Goldenrod, my safe internally was pretty stable at 75 degrees and 60-65% humidity, despite the dessicant canister which I had to recharge every other month. After installing the Goldenrod, it's been stable at 77 degrees and 44% humidity. I've put a timer on the Goldenrod set to run 12 hours per day with a goal of a stable 50% +/- 5 % humidity. My safe is probably less than 25 cubic feet.

    Almost the same

    The picture illustrates a 12" Goldenrod unit BUT the nomenclature reads 12" Gunsaver. They are not the same. I consider this false advertising. Not a very nice thing to do!
