      Mix, apply and go!

      The Light Natural, colored my hair and I didn't have to use chemical product. It can be a little messy when you mix it, so I put down wax paper or mix it outside. sometimes I wear a mask so don't breath in the dry product. If I have some left over after mixing I keep it in the fridge to keep it fresh as it can get moldy, but only after a couple of months or so. Overall its a great alternative to chemical coloring. Also it can dry your hair I like leaving it on about an hour and add a few drops of almond oil to the mix. Hey have fun coloring your hair!

      Torn

      I'm so torn on this henna because it was inexpensive, easy to use, and at first the color turned out beautifully. However, after a few washes, the color was completely gone. It maybe lasted 2 weeks.

      Long Experience has me sold on Light Mountain Henna

      I have used Light Mountain Henna for decades. I mix it close to 50/50 henna to very warm water. After it is blended to a creamy consistency, I put it in an old hair dye bottle with a pointy spout. It makes it much easier to apply. I find looks best when blend colors. I have tried many combinations. Now I combine Red and Dark Brown for a toned-down red shade that looks pretty natural.
