      A Fantastic entry-level VR Headset that works with many SteamVR titles

      The Acer Windows Mixed Reality Headset is a VR headset made for use with Windows Mixed Reality, but can be used for games on SteamVR, OpenVR compatible titles, and more through advanced side-loading apps like "Revive". Though this headset doesn't come with base stations, like most of the popular headsets on the market today, this headset tracks your Controllers in an "Inside-out" manner, utilizing the front facing cameras on the Head Mounted Display. After a lot of time playing games with this headset, I can fairly say that the tracking isn't 100% always accurate, but it does do what other headsets do, while remaining cheaper and more portable. The set-up was quick and easy; Just pop on the headset, and a Windows logo appears. The WMR portal sends a screen to your headset telling you to ...

      Great head set (minus one problem)

      The head set works perfectly fine and pretty well for mixed reality. The packaging was very nice and the product it self looked brand new. The only problem was the right controller. The accelerometer was malfunctioning making gaming pretty annoying. But its not and enough to call this head set bad. Fixing the controller or even buying a new one is still worth it considering the price I paid for it. Head set 5/5. Head set with semi useable controller 3/5

      Low cost, high performance introduction to VR

      The headset is great for people just getting into VR. The display is high resolution and the controls are responsive. There also is no additional hardware needed compared to the other VR setups, just plug in and go. If you play games with STEAM it will let you play many of the other VR games. And it's blue is aesthetically nice. One downside, while it's usable with glasses the edges blur at the outer edges. Also if your eyes or are slightly closer or farther apart than average (IPD) it may be a bit hard to focus since the lens do not move or adjust. Overall I like it.

      Good quality product, great value, some concerns but no major problems.

      This is a great headset for getting into the world of VR without investing huge amounts of money. I was pleasantly surprised by the image quality offered by this headset. The overall build quality of the headset is acceptable, a little on the cheap side but since the product itself is very affordable I can deal with that. My one concern about this product is that it seems like the video cable coming from the headset is jiggling a bit, from being pulled when moving the visor up and down. Currently it is not causing any problems, but I'm a bit worried it will loosen and cause connection problems between the cable and displays. As long as it holds up though, I'm very happy with this purchase.

      Excellent Intro To VR

      This headset was used with GTX 1070 MaxQ and I7-8250H. Overall, this is a great headset. It's very lightweight and doesn't weigh down on you. The blue looks nice in my opinion. The display works well, and is nice and detailed. Could it be more detailed? Yes, but it's still good, especially at this price point. Tracking on the headset is fantastic. It always stays on point with your movements. The controllers are overall good too, but every now and then they get shaky for a moment or two. Setup was super easy, just plug in and press the pair button on the controllers. Content is very diverse, but is a little pricey too. If you have the PC to run mixed reality, get this. You won't regret it.
