        Item was well packed to prevent damage. While the item is in good condition with minimum signs of wear and use, it is obviously used. Placing an item back into its original box doesn't make it "new." This is a small point, but it is annoying when people do not provide an accurate description. In this case, it is of small consequences as the item works fine after all the dead batteries were replaced. And yes, the vendor did mention that the batteries were dead.
