      A great ligature for the money

      Next to the Ishimori Silver ( $200) this is my next favorite ligature. Use it in orchestra because it holds the reed onto the mouthpiece when switching the mouthpiece between Bb and A clarinets. Allows the reed to vibrate freely. They should make this model in pure silver I bet the added density would sound great.

      Excellent ligature.

      At this price point, this is an outstanding ligature. Is it the best? No. But to beat it, you will have to pay 3 times more, and get a ligature that is only slightly better. It holds the reed tight and aligned on both metal and rubber surfaces.
