Meaning it pops off way to easy. It clicks on nicely, just sensitive and will fall off. I do use it on photo trips, it protects my lens, which is why I bought it after a near miss accident. Hate to have another near miss probably will not protect the lens. I like that zooming in and out on my lens, the hood does not show up around the edges of the image. Great against sun ray showing up on images.
