    It looks nice, but it's very soft. Received in good condition and the value...you get what you pay for. For $35 it's ok, and will get the job done, but if you're looking for a really good tone wood, this is probably not going to work so well. It's very light, and sanding takes off lots of wood so you have to be careful. I haven't even gotten this one built yet, because it seems to be possessed by some bad juju or something because I have painted, sanded, painted 3 times. Just can't get right

    Body needs some sanding, there is one crack, neck pocket is too wide (1/16 of an inch) for fender neck. For natural finish it's ok, for paint it needs a lot of filler.

    The body I received is perfectly shaped and routed for a Stratocaster swimming pool route. The wood is solid and the routed edges are as clean as any I’ve seen elsewhere. The body is the same dimensions as a full sized Strat body, which makes it easier to fit pick guards and components. The grain is cleanly visible and should pop out with proper staining and sealing. The price is excellent, especially in light of the quality of the piece.
