The Sand Master 71225 combines a 12-inch sand filter with a pump for above-ground pools up to 9,600 gallons. Replacing small summer waves pump and is just amazingly better than the original filter. Replacing the paper filters daily was horrible an ineffective. Pool has been crystal since install. Takes 40~ lbs of sand and build and install is quite intuitive instructions not needed. The unit comes with a block so sand doesn’t go down the lateral tube. And comes with winterizing plug as well. screw driver is all I needed. Very happy
