I noticed my Bose head set indicated the battery should be replaced only after a few hours use. I then realized that the NiMh naturally has lower voltage than an ordinary alkaline cell. I did not change the battery, but decided to see how long it would operate. Very many hours it seems, I am not sure how long as the cell continued to provide power for the entire trip to Thailand and return to Honolulu.
