The two models are comparable but the IXY uses Japanese. I was able to find demo on YouTube to change the language to English. I suggest assuring the customer that if you are sending an IXY, that it is a model whose language can be converted to English, as I'd heard reports that some IXY's can't be switched to English operating mode.
