So Far So Good
This generator (I have two of this model) does every thing it claims to do. I used them several times this past summer (2020). I have not used them in cold weather. I watched several YouTube videos before I purchased the first one. At 7,000 feet it would not pull the 15,000 btu air-conditioner on my 5th wheel. The YouTube videos I watched were done at sea level I'm pretty sure. I purchased a 2nd one and tested them together at 9,000 feet (in Arizona) and had no problem running the AC. I have been some what disappointed in their starting. It takes 4-8 pulls on the cord to get them started. My old Champion 4,000/3500 watt generator is always a 1-2 pull even in freezing temperatures. Not as advertised will not work, as intended.
Would not run a 750 watt heater, i wasted 5 hours of my time trying to get it too run. I followed the instructions in trying to get it too run, it would idle with our shutting off i will give it that. but that is about it Trying to run any thing other than a light bulb or a small fan it will do. I actually bought this mainly to recharge my Eco flow delta 1300, but it would not charge it of course, instead it cut off sounded horrible. To my luck im amazed it did not some how ruin my eco flow delta 1300. I don't recommend this especially, if your not experienced with inverter gas generators I just would would not know how to get this to work as it is advertised, therefore i'm sending it back.Would not run a 750 watt heater, i wasted 5 hours of my time trying to get it too run. Double check the initial oil fill.
Instructions say to add 1.1 quarts of oil. As an open box item, I'm guessing oil may have been added to it and not thoroughly drained. After adding the oil and starting it up, it blew smoke and spit oil out of the exhaust for an hour. Once the excess oil 'burned' off, it did operate flawlessly. I had to clean the oil from the rear panel but as far as the features and functions of the generator itself, I'm very impressed by this unit. The display seemed to indicate it was putting out a constant 20.5 and I ran it for 9 hours on 1 gallon of gas. Great little generator
Relatively quiet, starts easily. More power and half the price as some others. The LED display is very helpful, especially the hour meter and output. Very happy so far.
