    The surface and the clip hinges for the keys are different from the original MacBook Pro 13" Mid 2012. This important detail (the type of clip hinges) is not mentioned in the description. The keys cannot be interchanged from my original keyboard to this one - they would not clip/hold securely - some would not even fit into the metal frame, and they also look and feel different. I haven't tried to replace the entire keyboard though to see if it fits - I only wanted to replace the EN/RU keys.
