      You cannot install Yamaha's original mirror because this part has right hand thread, while Yamaha's mirror does have left hand one.

      These will work on a 2004 Yamaha Road St...

      These will work on a 2004 Yamaha Road Star. The levers are about 15% smaller than the original factory ones - not as "beefy". The bango bolt on the master is also at the end of master and not on the side. The brake light switch is the same. On the clutch side - the switch is totally different. It will require some wiring work - have to cut off the original switch connector and add your own to connect to the switch. Overall not as robust as the original. But satisfactory. Chrome is good.
