      Very bad design. Lid does not close tight and air seeps in.

      The top lid does not seal completely and air seeps in and fine debris is tossed out. The O-ring is not adequate. This a very bad design and can damage your pool pump.. Many other have complained about the same issue on other sites. Stay away from this product.

      Essential since I don't have the Vac-Mate the leaves & dead insects get trapped in the vortex instead of the grid. It's the Dyson of pool cleaners. I find I need to backwash less often. I had the in-line canister with nylon stockings that reduced suction as it filled up because I couldn't see thru the nylon stockings.
