      I purchased 2, 1 for now and one as a backup for later. My husband has a tendency to break the wires every 12-18 months. Yes, I plan to order 2 more when he breaks the wires on the next one! He has used it 3 times and said the stainless steel is nicer than the cheap plastic slicers. I like it. It's easier to clean. A quick spray of HOT water will do the job. Do not immerse in dish detergent, as it will eventually damage the stainless steel.
