Increase productivity in the workplace using the HP LaserJet Pro 400 M451dn workgroup laser printer. Able to withstand busy commercial offices with ease, this laser printer produces color or black and white prints quickly and efficiently. The HP LaserJet Pro 400 produces professional-quality documents at a fast rate using innovative laser technology. It has a processor speed of 600 MHz and is capable of printing 21 ppm, and is also able to cope with a monthly duty cycle of 40,000 pages. Automatic duplex printing is accommodated by the two standard paper trays. One tray holds 250 sheets of paper, while the other tray is for multi-purpose use and holds 50 sheets. The facility to print on both sides of a sheet of paper helps saves paper and the related costs for paper supplies. The easy-to-use printer has a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi, which produces professional-grade documents. This is the same for documents printed with black toner and for those printed with color toner. The HP LaserJet Pro 400 M451dn prints in a range of media sizes, including executive, legal, envelope, and letter settings. The maximum media size accommodated is 8.5 x 11.7 inches. You can also print from virtually anywhere due to the HP ePrint facility. The AirPrint and HP mobile printing options mean you can even print from your tablet or smartphone with no need for apps or setup. The desktop printer has an RJ-45 Ethernet interface with USB 2.0 connection. This built-in Ethernet allows you to share printing resources when the printer is paired with the LAN connection. Networking is auto-configured via the HP Auto Wireless Connect feature. The networked printer also has an internal hard drive size of 128 MB. The HP Smart Install feature means you can install this HP LaserJet workgroup laser printer quickly and easily without the need for an installation CD. In just a few minutes, it will be set up and ready for you to use. As well as saving on costs with paper and toner, this laser printer has settings to reduce energy use. It has intelligent Auto-On and Auto-Off technologies that switch the printer on when it is needed and back off when it is not in use. It also has Instant-On Technology that provides a quick start-up for printing jobs from its low-power mode. The HP Web Jetadmin feature manages office printing proactively by centralizing printer management. This helps save costs as well as time for IT personnel. Easy-to-follow instructions are found in the Installation Guide, and software drivers are included as well.     Great color laser printer

    The laser printer is a 2-side color printer with excellent print quality. I had to retire my older Hp 2605dn color printer. It took a while for me to decide upon this one but I am not disappointed. The only flaw is that the ready light flashes non-stop. After investigating this problem I learned that this is the characteristic of this printer and there is nothing wrong with the printer. To solve this problem, I just turn it off when I finish my print job. Also, you will need to purchase a memory card (256mb) to take advantage of the printers' memory capability. I am very happy with my purchase.

    So Nice I bought it Twice

    I bought a used M451dn on eBay 3 years ago for a really low price. I really liked it a lot, but apparently in its former life it wasn't treated well, so it had a recurring problem that even an HP authorized repair shop couldn't fix without replacing a very expensive part. Whenever I changed the yellow toner I had to fiddle with the printer's sensor to get it to make contact with the toner chip. Finally the sensor board just gave out. I don't blame HP; I think the machine wasn't properly cared for. So this time, I spent the money to get a NIB M451dn, and a Square Trade 3-year warranty. Still worth every penny and glad to have it up and running again. The duplexing is the main feature I wanted, to cut down on the amount of space I need to store reports.     My best-ever purchase on e-bay!

    I already had one of these great printers, so I kind of knew what I would be getting. I got a steal of a deal on the price of this printer. It was promptly shipped and arrived in the proper factory box. I thought it was used but everything about it looks new. I simply plugged it in and started printing perfect copies. Now that I have two identical models I have simplified ordering and stocking toner cartridges. I couldn't be happier!
