    Didn't sound as good as real Apple earbuds

    These didn't really sound as good as the apple earbuds I already have, but I guess it's to be expected from the price you pay. It came in an apple looking box, but the earbuds felt and sounded different, so I don't think they were truly Apple brand earbuds.

    Horrible quality compared to other apple earbuds

    There is definitely something wrong with these. It’s as if the tempo is turned way up, and bass is turned down. Like you are listening to music playing in a bathroom. I compared the audio quality against the same type of original headphones bought with an iPhone. I used a new iPad to test both. The audio quality of the pair that came with an iPhone were significantly better than the ones I purchased here. They appear to look exactly like the original apple earbuds. Don’t waste your money on these.

    Don't seem to be like my old ones....

    I have purchased four sets of "Authentic Apple Earpods" from four different sellers and they are all lighter weight and less-bassy than the earpods that came with my iPhone 5s a few years ago. They still sound good and have better high notes (probably because they are clean) but don't seem to be as good as the old ones I still have and use daily. I'm assuming because all four pairs are identical that they are genuine but i never heard anything about apple changing the earpods and I have had one pair quit on me sooo... Not really sure what to think here. I guess I'll just keep using my old ones until they break. They have held up very well so far so I hope they last a good while longer.

    These earbuds are defected

    These earbuds are easy to use and work well, but trying to put them back in the case can be difficult. If you try to put them back in correctly, the remote wont slide in the mold correctly. Also, one side of the earbuds are longer than the other, but its not that bad. They have good sound quality and are a good product as long as you don't plan on putting them back in the case.

    bought 2 just in case, both have terrible sound

    As a music lover, I have used over 10 different kinds of good earphones and headsets, and I am also really familiar with the original EarPods' sound. This is DEFINITELY NOT the genuine apple EarPods, although they might look the same. The sound is ABSOLUTELY UNBEARABLE. I bought 2 of these, and both of them had the exact same stupid sound quality. There is no "coincidence" or "bad luck". I like apple EarPods because they have relatively OK sound quality and they are easy to use and travel with. These are way worse than the genuine one, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS.
