    Big sound!

    This Sony boombox is just what I need when our Soundsystem is on the fritz. It has great sound and the volume gets loud enough to fill a gymnasium or even outdoors.

    Not worth the money

    I purchased this to replace another Sony boombox that had CD AM/FM features and a line in for Pandora and Spotify. The HC has the reinforcing bar and a cool design The case is about 9x9x22 which actually is a fairly large package for travelling or if packing it in with other construction tools which is how mine travels. The Bad News This unit has below average sound. It has a mega bass feature which slightly increases the lows of whatever you are listening to but it is nothing more than an outside radio I bought mine to replace a Sony VS BGT 900 that had finally given up. Being a Sony I expected close to the same sound quality But I was wrong. If you are shopping and looking at this review do yourself a favor and get the discontinued Sony VS BGT 900 It is lightyears ahead of this HC 610 ...

    I still like the workmanship and it's durability!

    Dust proof, it has good protection for CD playing. It depends what room your in to get a station. The receiver doesn't get a clear Radio Station.

    Wonderful purchase. Exactly what I needed!

    This boom box is GREAT! I use it for my water aerobics class and the volume is loud enough even with the fans overhead. I had to buy it used because it is no longer being manufactured. However it is in very good condition.
