Maybe it's the super elliptical stylus, the ceramic boron cantilever, or the resonant-free wood shell but the music, right out of the box, is wonderful. Bass is precise and very deep. Highs are crystal and mids are to die for. You will sob one moment, and then find yourself dancing the next. I through jazz, heavy rock, and classical; practically everything in my very large record collection and this cartridge remained dead quite, precise, and wonderful.
