Not the seller's fault but some bubble wrap inside the package might mitigate Fed Ex's rough handling.     Much Improvement of the standard ladder

    It is lot more stable than our old one. It like the ability to remove the outside ladder. I well the water vent holes in the plastic pieces for the guard could be bigger or more of them. The only other problem with it was the instructions were out of order with poor detailed pictures.

    Very Unstable

    This item, while easy to put together, is very unstable when you put it in the water. The base is very narrow for the height of the unit and it feels very unsafe when you start to climb up the ladder. The bases both inside and outside the pool, need to be wide. My solution was to run cords on both sides of the frame to try to stabilize it. Not worth the money for this product.

    Not safe...total waste of my money!!

    This product was a waste of my money! There's no stability to it at all!! It easily leans to the side ... I bought this for the platform cuz I have a grandchild ... I won't be using this ladder I paid so much for due to the fact that it easily tips to the side!! Would rather use my ladder without the platform cuz it is very sturdy & stable & doesn't lean!

    Slimline ladder

    I am unable to give a rating on this item as I will not be able to use the product until next year’s swimming season. I have just had open heart surgery and swimming is prohibited. So the new pool and slimline ladder will not be installed until 2019 since we are at the end of the swim season for 2018. I will be anxious to complete my installation next summer and try it all out. Hoping it proves to be everything I am expecting!

    Lightweight and looks easy to go in and out of the pool.

    Really great to have as a secondary ladder in the pool, as required by the city. Haven't used it yet, but will as soon as the weather will be nice again.
