    Best Tivo I have Owned

    This is my 3rd or 4th TiVo and is the 2nd High-Definition TiVo that I have owned, the first HD unit being a Series 3 TiVo. The picture quality on this unit is excellent, the fact that it has 6 tuners is the best thing about it to me. I use a TiVo Mini to watch television in another room, that takes up one of the 6 tuners, but I still have 5 left for use in simultaneous TV show recording. With my old 4-tuner Series 3 TiVo there were times when I would get up in the morning and all the tuners were busy recording shows so I couldn't watch the morning news because there was no available tuner for the TiVO Mini. That never happens with this unit. Hookup was easy. Once I installed the cable card, Comcast was able to activate it over the phone without a technician coming out. Every now and ...

    Love my roamio pro

    I love it!!! And it has out of home streaming. Whereas at the moment the new bolt does not!!! So I sent that back. I also can hook up my slingbox to the roamio as well :) and it has 3GB of memory.

    TiVo -- the only way to watch and record.

    Whether you have cable or OTA, TiVo is the ONLY way to watch and record your favorite programs. I've been using TiVo for years. Their customer service is unparalleled in my experience. The software is easy to use, and the hardware is FAR superior to what I have experienced with other providers.

    Sent this back, not what I wanted

    I ended up sending this back and buying the 1TB Bolt 2 Reasons Cable goes out...you can instal a A/B 75ohm switch between your cable and antenna and be able to still record off OTA, also eventually we are weeding out our cable for the most part, once we do we will still be able to see our fav shows via Internet, and OTA Have been up for almost a week, and love the tivo!!!! Highly recomended for someone that wants to cut the cord on their over priced rental of a DVR unit as well as their fees on services and the program guide they charge you for each month. Pay the one time lifetime fee and be gone cable box rental!!!!!! Cable companies are sucking people dry on their services! And the quality....OUTSTANDING!!! But get the Bolt 1 TB Great machine with VOX

    It is a great product, very nice

    I do love the 6 tuner's. The new version with Hydra is pretty much junk. After I went back to the older version, (that's kind of a pain), it's more like the Tivo Series 4. It work's great. The guide is much better than series 4. Your show's are in folders, easier to find after Hydra is gone. It actually does more than the Series 4. It take's a while to figure out, not much info about it. But all in all, it is very nice.
